NEW  discounts on new berths

Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club has decided to continue the special 28 day discount prices on a number of berths until its sales target has been achieved. A new sales pack showing revised pricing for 28 day and 6 month settlements as well as availability is available from marinasales@mbtbc.com.

This revised pack details two new and extended offers which will be continued until such time as the Club has achieved its targets of:

• Club expansion
• More amenities – more toilets, more showers
• More pokies

Package one – 28-day settlement: To qualify for this reduced price on a new berth, purchasers must complete a letter of offer (available on request from marinasales@mbtbc.com) and return this to the Club office with a $5,000 deposit. The balance of the amount must be paid to the Club within 28 days. The discounted price list is available on page one of the revised sales pack.

Package two – six-month settlement: Settle in six months, occupy now.

A number of prospective purchasers have requested a more flexible approach for their berth purchase. In keeping with those requests we have created a unique offer whereby you will enjoy a substantial discount on our original listed price as well as a long settlement.

• Step one: Choose your berth from those available in the new section of MBTBC Marina.
• Step two: Complete a letter of offer and return to the Club office with a deposit of 10% of the total berth price.
• Step three: Occupy your berth making five monthly progress payments with the balance of the purchase price payable six months from the date of contract. Further details and pricing are available on page two of the sales pack.

This allows those members who have indicated their recent purchase of a boat and wish to occupy the marina immediately (but not “pay dead money” by way of rent) enjoy both a substantial discount and long term settlement.

We are only 25 berths away from achieving the targets set by the Club committee. It was anticipated that it would take three years to achieve this target. The aforementioned packages are designed to advance the completion of the original targets plus bring additional benefits to the members with the improvements to the Club and the facilities offered.

We all recognise that the past two years have been very tough throughout the world. Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club is poised to be, if not already, one of the best and most financially secure Clubs in Australia.

The rental stream from the berths which will be retained by the Club at the discretion of the Management Committee can only serve to enhance the Club even further.

To those prospective buyers that are contemplating purchasing a berth, now is the time. The aforementioned discounts will not continue indefinitely.

The sales pack also includes information on three off-the-plan double sided berths. These will be completed in December/ January 2010/2011.
